Nancy Schmidt, MS, PCC, ELI-MP

With over 35 years of extensive experience, Nancy has effectively led, managed, and coached individuals and teams across diverse sectors, including healthcare and academia. She is renowned for her engaging, collaborative, and outcome-oriented approach, empowering individuals and teams to elevate their performance from good to exceptional.

Previously, Nancy held the position of Senior Vice President for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and Partners Healthcare (now MGB). In this role, she adeptly united groups with differing and competing interests to create a win-win vision for collaboration and achieve shared objectives. Under her leadership, her teams established robust relationships with referring hospitals and physician groups, contributing to a remarkable five-fold expansion of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network over a decade.

As a coach, Nancy has collaborated with both emerging and seasoned leaders to enhance their performance. Her focus has been on assisting senior executives in articulating their vision clearly and communicating it effectively to their teams. Additionally, she has guided numerous emerging leaders in defining their career paths and pursuing opportunities to realize their aspirations.

Nancy is a dedicated coach specializing in empowering women who have faced breast cancer, guiding them through their journey from treatment to redefining their lives as resilient breast cancer survivors.

Credentials

Nancy holds a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Central Missouri, specializing in Social Work. She is the co-editor of two influential books, “Outcome-Based Rehabilitation” and “Staff Development and Clinical Intervention in Brain Injury Rehabilitation.” Furthermore, she has conducted workshops and specialized training focused on the role and impact of teamwork in healthcare settings on clinical outcomes.

Nancy is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited by The International Coach Federation (ICF). She is also a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and is certified in their Energy Leadership Index Assessment Tool. Additionally, Nancy is a certified TandemCoachTM for Tandem Solutions and has served as a Term Lecturer and Leadership Coach at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute for Healthcare Professionals.

Affiliations

In addition to having her own coaching practice, Nancy is also an Executive Coach for Tandem Solutions. In this role, Nancy coaches small groups through Tandem’s leadership programs. She also coaches individual leaders as a part of Tandem’s Executive Leadership Coaching Services.
